Been inking in Painter X and coloring in Photoshop CS4. I gotta spend more time learning how to color in Painter.. but it's taken me this long just to figure out my inking brush settings. Ugh.
But, from what I understand, CS5 is on the horizon. I'm not sure if I want to upgrade... but likely I will.
Also, for those who've read any of Raina Telgemeier's work (Baby Sitter's Club graphic novels first come to mind~~) there's a contest for a copy of her latest work, SMILE. We picked it up about a week or two ago and it's a great piece of work~ Highly recommended! :D If you have some time and story to tell, give it a go!

Much sankies~ ! It's nice that I have better control over the line quality in Painter -- I wish it was as intuitive as PS with its hot keys, but grah, I guess we get what we take. ^^;
Now to figure out how those Japanese illustrators do that 1-px line art and color. o_o...
