What is today?
n2-Anpan OMP!!
One thing I've noticed from working at home is that I sometimes forget what day it is... Especially when there's a holiday somewhere within the week.

You know how you get that "feeling" that corresponds to whatever day of the week (like Fridays feel like Saturdays when they are holidays... likewise with Mondays and Sundays) - I get those vague feelings throughout the week.

Like - is today Wednesday? It sure doesn't feel like it.

Anyway~ might have to do with the fact I overslept this morning. I've been trying to be mindful of my work clock - making sure I put in 8 hours a day of pure work. I tried to time myself yesterday with a stop watch, but the program glitched and clocked in some ridiculous time a few hours in.

Maybe it's a part of growing up, but I'm learning that in each and every day we only have so many hours and we can spend them however we like. To really contribute to the world we live in, those hours just can't be wasted because we get out of them only what we put in.

Not to say that I still don't dilly-dally and waffle over purchases at the supermarket... that's another ball of wax entirely. ^^;;

This arc works much better as a daily strip.. it's just takes too long to get to the punchlines... I hope you all stick with me on this. ^^;

My days are like that, too. It's awesome, but...sometimes I miss the passing of the seasons that comes along with working outside of the home.

Thank goodness for LJ! :)

I have the same problem, I can never remember what day it is. >_o

Heh, you wanna talk about "what day it is?"...

My normal work schedule is Saturday through Wednesday; I'm off on Thursday and Friday. That means that everyone else's Monday is my Wednesday, real world Thursday is my Saturday.

As almost everyone in the casino industry works on weird weeks, this creates interesting comments like: "Is this anybodies Friday?" and "Today is my Wednesday but it's your Thursday, so we can meet up at Red Rock on Friday which is my Saturday and your Sunday" and everyone knows what is meant.

Planing things can be a chore when your friends all have different weekends.
