[art musing] - OMG I HAVE BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK ALL THESE YEARS
n2-Anpan OMP!!
kyubikitsy
Albeit there isn't only one way to proverbially skin a cat...

OMG. I THINK I FINALLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO COLOR IN PAINTER. (sort of)

(or at least one way, out of many. o_o;)

Unfortunately, I just did my test sketch on my studio computer... and I'm currently at my day job... so nothing to show at the moment.

aaaaannnnnd... I just learned a new cleaning and coloring technique for pencil sketches in Photoshop.

My life is (almost) complete. o_o

(Okay, back to work. ^_^;;)

omgs, cleaning pencil sketches in Photoshop!! Share pls~! :D I don't think I've ever found any really good way to do that. The scanner always has a way of picking up and magnifying things that are not the sketch, and I don't really want to clean it all up by hand with the stylus at 200% zoom. :\

It takes a little bit of cleaning, but not as NEARLY as much as when I did it the old-fashioned way.o_O; I also try and draw on smooth paper, like printer paper. Anything with tooth, like sketchbook paper just asks more for work~

His coloring tutorial is great for quick coloring. o_O! It's not quite as controlled as how I normally color, but to make quick changes to hue/saturation of shadows - OMG TIME SAVER.
